Interview process

Getting to know each other via teams 
In a first video interview (45-60 min) we get to know each other and  introduce the position in more detail.

 Interview with the potential manager
You get to know the potential manager and we dive deeper into the technical aspects of the role.

 Practical day/cultural add interview 
We invite you to the office, where you will meet future team colleagues and one of the managing directors.  You can expect a cultural add interview, as well as a technical task for some roles.

Contract offer

  • How can I apply for a job at Appmatics?

    Apply quickly and easily via our application portal (see " Open positions" above) - no account registration required! All we need is your contact details, some important information and your CV. A cover letter is not a musthave, but it helps us to better consider your experience for the position.

    If you are not quite sure which position fits you exactly, but still want to work for our company, you can send us an unsolicited application: 

  • When can I expect to receive a feedback regarding my application status?

    Lara, Ivo and Adriana from our Talent Acquisition team are working diligently every day to give you feedback within a few days. We often receive a large number of applications for one position and carefully review them all, so it can take a little longer sometimes.

    You will generally receive a response within 7 days. Otherwise, feel free to contact us - or check your spam folder to see if our reply might have ended up there.

  • Who can I contact if I have a question before or during the process?

    Our Talent Acquisition team is available from Monday to Friday and will gladly answer your questions. Just send us an e-mail with your request and we will get back to you as soon as possible (

  • Can I specifically prepare myself for the interviews and is there a dress code?

    We want to get to know you and find out how your skills and wishes for a new job match ours. Of course, we would be delighted if you are familiar with the position, us and our services. Above all, you should be interested in what we do.
    Don't worry: we won't put you through a knowledge quiz or test you on whether you know our founding year or details by heart.

    There is no conservative dress code. Come as you feel comfortable - business casual is completely fine. 

  • Are the individual interviews in the process virtual or on-site?

    It's the mix that counts! The first meeting with our Talent Acquisition team takes place virtually via MS Teams. Depending on the role, we have a two- or three-stage process which is also flexible. Getting to know your future manager can take place virtually or on site. At the latest in the final phase, you will get to know our beautiful office and your future team on site!

  • In which areas can I support you?

    You can find an overview of all our teams on the "Who we are" site. If you're unsure and can't find a specific position, feel free to send us an unsolicited application.

  • Can I also apply as a working student or intern?

    Absolutely! The majority of our team consists of our so-called "talents", who we train and develop into absolute rockets in their sector. For a working student job, you have to be matriculated - our current vacancies are listed above under " Open positions".
